Browser-based PDF tools your staff can use without uploading anything.

For law firms, healthcare practices, financial services, and government agencies where uploading documents to consumer SaaS is a compliance problem — and where the IT team has rightly blocked iLovePDF, Smallpdf, Adobe Online, and the rest.

The compliance problem we solve

Your staff need to merge, redact, sign, and compress PDFs every day. They're currently doing it in one of three ways: (1) emailing files around for someone with Acrobat Pro to handle, (2) installing random freeware that IT hasn't vetted, or (3) uploading to a consumer SaaS in defiance of policy.

The third option creates a compliance event the moment the file hits the upload endpoint. In HIPAA, that's a disclosure to an unsigned business associate. In legal, it's a privilege risk. In financial services, it's a data-handling violation.

Our solution removes the upload step entirely. All processing happens in the staff member's browser, on their own workstation. The hosted tool has no API endpoint that accepts file content — verifiable in Chrome DevTools. There is nothing to disclose because nothing is transmitted.

Three deployment options

Hosted, branded

InstantFileTools deployed on a subdomain you own (e.g. pdf.yourfirm.com) with your logo, colours, and a domain-locked allowlist.

From $499/mo — up to 25 staff.

Hosted, white-label

No InstantFileTools branding anywhere. Your firm's name throughout. SSO integration (Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace). Custom tool selection (hide tools you don't want staff using).

From $999/mo — up to 100 staff.

Self-hosted

Static bundle delivered to your infrastructure — your own S3, your own intranet, your own air-gapped server. We provide the build and quarterly security updates. No external network calls in normal operation.

From $2,499/mo — unlimited staff.

What's included in every tier

What sits behind the price

Honest answer: the hosted tiers are cheap to run because the heavy processing happens on the user's device, not ours. We charge for deployment work, branding work, SSO setup, signed MSA/BAA, and ongoing security maintenance — not for compute. That's why small-team pricing is realistic where competing "enterprise PDF suites" start at $50/user/month.
